Mike, a qualified hearing aid audiologist with 12 years' experience, said: "Hopefully more of those who are hard of hearing will be able to access our services now, and the new shop is well equipped.

Oticon - Delta Press release
Oticon Delta features in key international design publicatio, MAY 2006.
BLUEPRINT Magazine - Hear Wear For Baby Boomers.
Blueprint magazine is the International authority on contemporary architecture, design and culture and this month features Oticon Delta, article covered by editor-at-large, Henrietta Thompson.
When it was launched in 1983 BLUEPRINT genuinely broke the design publishing mould. Always authoritative, provocative and stylish, it made a point of setting the agenda rather than following one, identifying the ideas, projects and products that would become key influences on our culture.
Oticon Delta sites amongst an envious line of up of design led products by some of the world's most famous designers and highlights the cosmetic issues faced by the hard of hearing and the initiatives being made by those at the forefront of the industry.
Designed specifically to meet the demands of the fast-growing group of 50-65 year olds, Oticon Delta is a promise of change.

New Digital aid discovery (from Liverpool Echo)
Now hear this - a Warrington firm has launched a digital hearing aid with the worlds most powerful micro chip.
The Savia hearing aid will enable users to pinpoint sounds and suppress up to 20 separate noises, allowing wearers to hear clearly in busy and noisy surroundings.
Phonak, the company behind the aid, says the ship used has the same processing power as a Pentium 4 computer.
The new technology was unveiled at the European Space Agency in Holland.
Up to one in 10 people are thought to suffer from hearing problems.
Many suffer in crowded situations were a host of different sounds can obscure conversation.
But the Savia aid can localise sounds and the direction of sounds in the same way as those with normal hearing.
Phonak spokesman Paul Checkley said: 'Not being able to hear clearly at parties and social events can lead to people becoming embarrassed and socially isolated.'
'Our use of world-leading technology in the Savia system means wearers can enjoy themselves without worry.'
He said the revolutionary system works just as easily with the phone.
Special software which records fitting details allows healthcare staff to ensure that each device is fitted to suit a user's individual needs.
One of Phonaks's customers is astronaut Buzz Aldrin, 75, one of the first two men to set foot on the moon in 1969.
